I traveled to the Amazonia rainforest several times, visiting Brazil, Peru and Colombia. I was impressed by the striking visual quality of the vegetation. However what struck me most was the spiritual relationship original people have with the forest herself. The Amazonian rainforest is not only an essential asset for the survival of life on the planet: it also hosts and generate a different way to relate with Nature, one that does not sigle out humankind from the living planet.In this piece, I poured my passion for nature’s layers, blending realism with semi-abstract forms. Using oil, I captured the lush energy of vegetation with vivid greens and deep shadows, evoking a calm yet vibrant mood. I wanted this painting to bring a refreshing, grounded energy to your space, inviting you to feel alive with every glance.
